Biography

Mr. Samuel Loughlin is a Founding Partner and serves as an Investment Committee Member and Chief Executive Officer at Paceline Equity Partners. He served as Chairman of the Board & Director at Southeastern Grocers. He served as President, of North America at Lone Star Funds. He is responsible for directing origination activities in the Americas. He has over 15 years of experience in real estate and corporate and consumer investing, financing, and asset management. He previously served as Senior Managing Director responsible for identifying and sourcing corporate, consumer, and residential investment opportunities. From 2008 to 2012, he was Managing Director of Hudson Advisors where he directed the management of corporate and real estate assets in North America. Prior to Hudson, he was a Partner of a Houston-based investment fund and was responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring investment and financing strategies for the investment portfolio, which included real estate, operating companies, and public and private security instruments. Prior to that, he was an attorney at the law firm of Vinson & Elkins, where he was a member of the Business and Corporate Securities group, with experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate with a B.A. from Baylor University and earned his J.D. with Honors from the University of Texas School of Law.
