Jason Dresner General Information

Biography

Mr. Jason Dresner served as Senior Associate at NewSpring Capital. He is a Senior Associate at NewSpring with the Firm's dedicated growth strategy. He joined NewSpring in 2017 upon completing his MBA at The Wharton School of Business. Jason focuses on sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities as well as providing support to companies in NewSpring's portfolio. While at Wharton, Jason spent his summer as a Product Manager for Xfinity Home, Comcast's home automation and security business. In this role he helped launch a new product and evaluated new applications for connected devices across Comcast's residential subscriber base. Previously, Jason was with Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on middle-market buyout investments. At Gryphon, he was responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation. Prior to Gryphon, Jason was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Piper Jaffray where he advised clients across multiple industries on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance matters. Jason received a BS from Tulane University's Freeman School of Business and received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
