Dale Killmeyer General Information

Biography

Mr. Dale Killmeyer is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at Stone Pier Capital Advisors. He serves as Board Mmber at ACG Pittsburgh. He served as Managing Director at iNetworks Advisors. Previously, he served as a Principal at Renaissance Partners. For over 25 years, Mr. Killmeyer has worked with closely held businesses and their stakeholders to provide solid, strategic consulting expertise, including planning, formation, financial analysis, due diligence, accounting, treasury and operations. Through his work, he has assisted companies in various phases of operation, including start-ups, turnaround situations and management buy-outs. His expertise has contributed to shareholder/stakeholder equity through cost reductions, refinancing of debt and cash flow improvements. Mr. Killmeyer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Robert Morris University. He had previously worked as a Certified Public Account and Tax Manager before formulating a private consulting business, which led to his work with various companies for which he later served as a member of management. He has focused his career on serving small to mid-sized companies (less than $100mm in enterprise value) and their stakeholders. He began his career in 1982 with a large, international CPA Firm. After five years, he joined the Foster Investment Company, a closely-held investment company, along with their affiliate venture capital firm, Fostin Capital Corp. It was here that he learned the institutional investment business. He became Treasurer of both companies, analyzing numerous investment opportunities and was responsible for financial and tax reporting for the holding company as well as five venture capital funds. After eight years at Foster, he formed an advisory firm providing CPA, strategic consulting and capital markets services to business owners. One of his larger assignments was a project called Atlantic Baking Group ("ABG"). ABG was the restart of the Nabisco Plant in Pittsburgh as a private label cracker manufacturer. He was successful in securing the equity from the Soros Private Equity Group and the majority of the senior debt from G.E. Capital. As a result of the successful capital infusion, He was asked to join ABG, first as CFO and then as President, serving for several years before returning to financial consulting and transaction work. One such capital raise assignment was in securing $3mm of start-up capital for a home improvement company. Once again, after the successful capital infusion, he was asked to join the company as CFO, serving for two years until being recruited to join Renaissance Partners ("RP"), a boutique investment banking firm. During 2009 he was recruited away from RP by a client to serve as CFO and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. In 2010 he co-founded International Capital Networks, LLC ("iCap"), an affiliate of iNetworks, where Charlie Schliebs was a co-founder. In August 2012 he and Schliebs formed Stone Pier Capital Advisors. He also believes in giving back to the Community, currently serving as Chairman of a private foundation and Chair of Southwinds, Inc. a non-profit in the suburbs of Pittsburgh that provides housing and care to physically and developmentally challenged adults. He also has served as an Advisory Board member of Power Link, a Seton Hill University program designed to assist women owned companies. He is a graduate of Robert Morris University where he majored in Accounting.
