Biography

Mr. Anthony Shen served as Chief Operating Officer & Director at Mitel Networks. He is a Co-Founder and served as Co-Chief Executive Officer & President at Aastra Technologies. He was appointed to the Mitel® board of directors upon the Mitel merger with Aastra Technologies in January 2014. He brings more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications, most recently as President and co-Chief Executive Officer of Aastra, a role he held from 2005. In 1996, he co-founded Aastra with Francis Shen, and until 2005 was Aastra's President and Chief Operating Officer. From 1989 to 1996, he was Vice President of Aastra Telecom Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aastra. Prior to his leadership roles at Aastra, he spent nine years at Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation in a variety of positions that spanned engineering and product development to marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering Physics) granted in 1980 from the University of Toronto (Canada).
