Mr. Markus Pichler serves as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at SMEC. Mr. Pichler was investor at DoctorPage. He co-founded and served as Managing Partner at Alps Ventures. He served as Board Member at Clusterhaus. He co-founded & served as Managing Director and Managing Partner at meinKauf. He was a Research Assistant at the Institute Prof. Franke (Entrepreneurship & Innovation), as well as a research analyst at the Office of Science and Technology in Washington, DC with the international founder and technology scene in contact and collected even during his business administration studies at the Vienna University of Economics as Board of "icons - consulting by students' first experiences in the areas of e-and m-commerce in the U.S., Germany and Austria. Pichler 2010 co-founded the daily deal couponing platform and led the company as a member of the Board until its sale to Google in September 2011 ($ 114 million). He is also an active coach for courses of the International Master's program at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University.
