Biography

Mr. Winter Horton serves as General Manager at KBOC-FM. He served as Chief Operating Officer at LBI Media. He also served as a Chief Operating Officer at Estrella Media. Together with CEO Lenard Liberman, he manages the sales and operations of all the company's radio and television stations and the Estrella TV television network. In this role, he is responsible for providing the leadership and management necessary to grow the company's top-line revenue, control expenses, and maintain LBI Media's industry-leading operating margins. Horton joined LBI Media, Inc. in 1997 as Vice President of Programming for KRCA Channel 62 television, LBI's first television station. Together with Mr. Liberman, he helped develop the company's production arm and programming strategy. In 2001, while serving as Corporate Vice President, he successfully launched LBI Media, Inc.'s radio and television cluster in Houston, TX. After achieving success with the Houston properties, LBI Media, Inc. acquired five radio stations and one television station in Dallas in 2004 and Horton oversaw the cluster launch. He currently travels weekly to the LBI markets, overseeing sales and operations across all properties, including Estrella TV's network office in New York City. Before joining LBI Media, Inc., Horton owned a production company where he successfully directed and produced television commercials, music videos, and television shows for HBO and ABC, to name a few. Horton is a local Emmy Award-winning director and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
