Biography

Mr. Jeffrey Parkinson serves as Managing Partner at KEC Ventures. He serves as Board Member at Giraffic. He served as a Partner at Feenix Venture Partners. Previously, he also served as Board Member at Fireblade. His primary responsibilities include sourcing, analyzing, and closing new business opportunities. He also plays an active role within each direct investment, either as a member of the company board or by supporting management with any analytical, operational, strategic, or other needs. Prior to KEC, JP was an Associate at Z Capital Partners, a distressed-for-control private equity/asset management firm where he focused on assets in their TRS and CDS facilities. Before Z Capital, he was a Portfolio Manager in the TRS group at ABN Amro, which started as a team of four managing a few million dollars of CDO assets and grew into a group of more than thirty professionals who managed several billion dollars of assets. JP began his career as a FIG Analyst at Citigroup. He served as Board Observer at Buzz Points. Outside of the office, JP spends the majority of his time with his family, but also enjoys golfing, working out, and all Denver sports teams. JP earned a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University, where he was an all-conference swimmer and school record holder. He also holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He also served as Board Member at Matter. He is also an Angel Investor. He serves as a Board Member at Virgil Security and FinTech Studios. He served as Board Observer at Gem.
