Biography

Mr. Vladimir Volik served as Partner and Chief Executive Officer at Branan. His key experience is in strategy and investment advisory services in the power and utility sectors. As Project Manager for the restructuring of RAO UES of Russia, the largest power sector utility holding in Russia, Vladimir was responsible for development and execution of all procedures for the reorganisation of the holding. He also developed the functional model for state governance of Russian power sector, and proposed the reallocation of the major governance functions performed by RAO UES of Russia. His experience also includes management of and participation in projects for reforming and carrying out business diagnostics of fifteen power industry systems. Before joining Branan Vladimir worked for Investment Banking Group NIKoil, in corporate finance and management consulting department. Vladimir took participation in the structuring of AVPK Sukhoi (the first-rate aircraft construction holding), in the development of the Marketing strategy for KASKOL GROUP, in the promotion programme development of the single-engine turboprop to small aviation world market. Vladimir holds Master's Degree and PhD in economics from Russian People Friendship University.
