Biography

Mr. Dustin Thomas serves as Chief Financial Officer at BH Management Services. Previously, Mr. Dustin Thomas served as a Managing Partner at Midwest Growth Partners. Prior to that, Dustin served as Vice President of Capital Management Associates. and CMA Ventures, the wholly-owned private equity investment operations of Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO). In that role, Dustin was in charge of all aspects of the transaction including deal sourcing, transaction execution, and post transaction management. The Midwest Growth Partners staff continues to provide portfolio advisory services to CMA Ventures. on a consulting basis. Prior to joining Capital Management Associates and CMA Ventures, Dustin worked for the investment banking arm of a regional broker dealer focused on small and lower middle market capital raising and M&A transactions. While there, Mr. Thomas had experience with transaction sizes ranging from less than $100,000 to greater than $50,000,000. While with the firm, Dustin was also a member of the investment committee with greater than $250,000,000 of assets under management in multiple investment risk profiles. He was responsible for outside manager due diligence and asset allocation decision making. Dustin brings experience as an investor, advisor, and director of private companies with a focus on strategic planning and financial guidance. Dustin earned his CFA designation and CAIA designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa. Dustin received his B.A. from Simpson College graduating Magna Cum Laude and his MBA from the University of Iowa graduating with Distinction. Dustin lives in West Des Moines, IA with his wife Shauna. He is active as a chapter advisor to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chapter at Simpson College. Dustin also enjoys playing golf and participating in the various clay shooting discipline
