Biography

Mr. Peter-Paul Schmidt-Fischer serves as Chief Executive Officer at Hummel Manufaktur. He also served as Executive at Premium Equity Partners. He also served as Managing Partner at First Capital Partners. Peter-Paul Schmidt-Fischer's focus lies on advising medium-sized service and retail companies and public quoted companies as well as on structuring management buy-in and management buy-out projects. He has last been a partner and since 2003 managing director of Krüger & Uhen/Lampe Corporate Finance, before he joined First Capital Partners as Managing Partner in 2008. Peter-Paul Schmidt-Fischer was the co-founder and managing director of Frey, Schmidt-Fischer & Partner GmbH, an M&A firm, with offices in Düsseldorf and Barcelona which he operated with great success. Successively, in the course of an MBI after he ran as managing partner an international commercial enterprise whose core business activities were consumer durables and automotive components. He started his career after his studies of Economics and Theology at the universities of Cologne, Bonn and Münster, as an assistant to the management board and head of Mergers & Acquisitions of Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH, a global trading and service group. Later he was appointed the managing director of Lonrho Industriebeteiligung GmbH in Germany. In this connection, he became familiar with complex organizational structures. In his search for new businesses, he implemented major acquisitions for these groups.
