John Lee General Information
Biography
Mr. John Lee served as Operating Partner at Formation Group. Previously, he served as Asia Business Development Operating Partner at Formation 8. He started his career at IBM GBS (Global Business Service) as an IT consultant providing consulting services to the leading corporations in the Korean finance industry such as Samsung Life insurance and IBK Securities. He worked on improving and upgrading IT platforms as well as offering business solutions. After IBM, he joined Woori Asset Management where he managed a 'Fund of Hedge Funds' portfolio through analysis of global market trends and fundamentals. Most recently, he worked with Central Holdings, a boutique firm specializing in corporate finance and mergers & acquisition. Mr. John received an Honors degree in computer science at the University of Waterloo and earned an MBA at Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST).
