Biography

Mr. Andrew Shear serves as Principal in the Private Equity strategy at Comvest Partners. He is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments for Comvest's private equity strategy. He served as Principal at Atlantic Street Capital. He joined Atlantic Street in January 2014 with a background in investment banking. He works on all aspects of the investment process with a particular focus on deal origination, due diligence, acquisition financing, and execution. He serves on the Boards of Zips Car Wash, Lab Logistics, OrthoBethesda, and Lori's Gifts and was previously a Board Member of Fast Sandwich, Inc., and A Wireless. Prior to Atlantic Street, he worked for Jefferies in the Healthcare group in New York. While at Jefferies, he worked on a variety of middle-market M&A transactions along with multiple debts and equity fundraisings. He received his B.A. from the Villanova School of Business in May 2012 with a focus on Finance and Real Estate.
