Biography

Mr. Jon Berquist is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner, and Member of the Management, Investment and Executive Committee at Accord Group Holdings. He serves as and Member of the Investment Committee and Executive Committee. Prior to co-founding Accord, Mr. Berquist served as a Managing Director with Macquarie Group in its Real Estate Private Capital Markets Group. Prior to co-founding Compass Equity Advisors and Presidio Partners. Mr. Berquist co-founded Presidio Partners in May 2003. Mr. Berquist was a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities forming and leading its Real Estate Private Equity Group from 1997 to 2003. Under his direction, the group raised over $5.3 billion of equity capital for privately placed commingled funds, institutional joint ventures, and preferred and common stock for REITs and real estate operating companies. Prior to that, he spent 13 years in New York in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch. Mr. Berquist earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and graduated magna cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Berquist sits on the Board of Directors of Highcross Strategic Partners I, II, and III is Chairman of the Board of QSuper RE, and sits on the Advisory Board for the IL&FS India Realty Fund II. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles (INREV), and the Asian Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV) and is an associate of the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
