Biography

Mr. Jeffrey Sobczynski serves as Principal at Incubation Capital Partners. He co-founded and served as Managing Partner and Member of the Investment and Executive Committee at Accord Group Holdings. He also serves on Accord's Investment Committee and Executive Committee. Prior to co-founding Accord in 2013, he served as a key principal and a member of the investment committee for Mesirow Financial Institutional Real Estate (MFIRE) for six years. He focuses on distribution efforts across Incucap's vehicle offerings including funds, separate accounts, programmatic JVs, and portfolio recapitalizations. In addition, he also focuses on business development, manager underwriting and selection, and principal investment activity. Immediately prior to joining Incucap, he was a managing director at High Street Logistics Properties, where he focused on investor relations and business development. In 2013, he helped found and was a partner at Accord Group, a global capital advisory firm, where he focused on both capital advisory and investments. In 2007, he joined Mesirow Financial, a global fund of funds business where he focused on sourcing and due diligence and was a member of the investment committee. While at MFIRE, he led investments in the Americas and participated in approximately 30 fund investments representing $350 million in equity commitments. Prior to MFIRE, he led the Midwest practice of the Lease Consulting Group at Deloitte & Touche. While at the firm, he served a variety of corporate and equity real estate clients with a specialization in real estate due diligence and M&A activity, ranging from single-asset and portfolio purchases to large public mergers, representing over $50 billion in commercial real estate. He received a Master of Education degree from the University of Illinois and a bachelor's degree in Finance from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA).
