Biography

Mr. Tom Pierce serves as Partner, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at Sorenson Capital. Prior to joining Sorenson Capital in 2010, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC"). He worked in the Los Angeles and Salt Lake City offices of PwC. At PwC, he worked with clients in the private equity, consumer products, software, hospitality, and manufacturing industries. In Los Angeles, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group and consulted with his clients on various domestic and international tax issues. In Salt Lake City, he provided tax compliance and tax consulting services to a variety of clients including private equity funds and their portfolio companies. He received a Master of Accountancy and a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University, graduating magna cum laude. He is a licensed CPA in Utah.
