Mr. Jim Ukrop is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Director at NRV. Jim is a respected entrepreneur and business leader, an active William & Mary alumnus and a valued civic leader. Jim has served as CEO and Chairman of Ukrop's Supermarkets and Chairman of First Market Bank, both of which were sold in 2010. Over the years, he has led many business, arts and public school initiatives, and still serves today as one of Richmond's "visionary leaders." At NRV, Jim freely shares his personal time, creative ideas, and world-class contacts with Richmond's talented entrepreneurs. Jim Ukrop has an intuitive sense about people. His new ideas and shared values are second-to-none and are highly valued and appreciated by everyone whose lives he touches. Jim is the role model for Richmond's young leaders in servant leadership, legacy stewardship and inspired community service leading by example with his extensive, dedicated board and volunteer activities throughout the region.
