Biography

Mr. Marten Abrahamsen serves as Chief Financial Officer at Vercel. He served as Chief Financial Officer at Fundbox. In this role, he oversees accounting, tax, FP&A, strategic finance, capital markets, treasury, corporate development, strategy, and Investor Relations. Before joining Fundbox, Marten was a Growth Equity Investor and senior member of the investment team at The Chernin Group (TCG), where he was responsible for sourcing and executing thematic investments in financial technology. Prior to TCG, Marten was a senior investor at Coatue Management's Growth Fund, where he was a member of the investment committee and led growth investments in companies including Anaplan, Cerebras Systems, Jet.com, and Stash, and worked closely with the portfolio on strategy, financial planning, and fundraising. He also worked as a private equity technology investor with Vector Capital, and started his career as an Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs.Mr. Abrahamsen served as Partner at The Chernin Group. He previously served as Investor at Coatue Management. Previously, he served as Senior Associate at Vector Capital, Associate at Perella Weinberg Partners, Investment Banker at Goldman Sachs, and Debt Capital Markets Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland. He also served in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Mr. Abrahamsen received his MBA from Harvard Business School and also attended the University of Warwick Business School and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business.
