Biography

Mr. Eric Simmerman is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Technology Officer at Qualytics. He served as Chief Technology Officer at HealthPrize Technologies. A hands-on technical leader of early-stage endeavors from inception through go-to-market, he has more than 20 years of experience in designing and implementing advanced technology initiatives both domestically and abroad for organizations such as Bank of America, FINRA (NASD), Government of Canada (PWGSC), IBM, Nortel Networks, Altavista Europe and PG&E National Energy Group. Eric is a published author of various technical articles and an information systems educator. Most recently, he led engineering efforts at Social Tables, a venture-backed SaaS company with over 4,000 business subscribers worldwide.He served as Vice President, Engineering at Social Tables and Pascal Metrics. Eric leads the Engineering group which seeks to solve important problems in patient safety and clinical improvement through the novel application of technology. With over a decade of experience building custom systems for organizations in the mobile, telecom, financial services, energy, retail, and healthcare sectors. He has designed and implemented advanced technology initiatives both domestically and abroad for organizations such as Bank of America, FINRA (NASD), Government of Canada (PWGSC), IBM, Nortel Networks, Altavista Europe, and PG&E National Energy Group. Eric is a published author of various technical articles and an information systems educator. He has a B.S. in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
