Ms. Jennifer Millard serves as Managing Director, Manatt Digital and Technology at Manatt Phelps & Phillips. Ms. Millard serves as a Senior Managing Partner at Function Ventures. She has more than 20 years of experience in retail and consumer products. She is a recognized industry expert on retail concept innovation and consumer and channel segmentation. She is a true omnichannel retailer, with experience spanning brick-and-mortar, e-commerce, automated retail, and emerging big data services. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of Retail Growth Partners, a strategy consulting firm focused on the retail vertical. Before founding Retail Growth Partners, she held a Director Consulting position at McMillan|Doolittle LLP, a Chicago-based boutique retail firm. In addition, she has held senior executive positions at ZoomSystems, Saks, Bed Bath & Beyond, Brown Shoe Group, Sears, Lifefactory, and Nambe. She has worked with over 100 diverse clients including The Limited, Caterpillar, Lowe's, The Great Indoors, T-Mobile, Macy's, Best Buy, Target, Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Lifefactory, Truaxis, and many venture capital and private equity funded start-ups. She also provides retail intelligence and advisory services to private valuation firms, private equity, and venture capital financiers. She currently serves in strategic advisory capacities to numerous firms in the venture capital and private equity community. She also serves on the Board of Governors of the University of North Texas Retail Merchandising and Hospitality Program in Denton, TX. She is a member of the National Retail Federation, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
