Biography

Mr. Michael Eck served as an Operating Partner at Greenhouse Capital Partners. He served as President & Chief Executive Officer at AcroMetrix. He is a seasoned life sciences executive and successful biotech entrepreneur, was most recently the Founder, President and CEO of AcroMetrix Corporation, a privately held biotechnology company specializing in products and services that enhance the accuracy and reliability of infectious disease testing, and a market leader in the field of quality systems for molecular and genomic diagnostics. Since its inception in 1999, Michael grew AcroMetrix into a global enterprise providing diagnostics to over 20 countries and 1000 customers. Mike successfully exited AcroMetrix in 2010, selling the company to Life Technologies (Nasdaq: LIFE). Prior to AcroMetrix, Mike was the Vice-President of Global Commercial Operations, Molecular Diagnostics with Bayer/Chiron. While there, Mike led Bayer/Chiron's molecular business sales, marketing and technical services organizations worldwide, following successful senior positions for Quidel Corporation, Microprobe Corporation, and Abbott Diagnostics. Additionally, Mike was a former member of our Armed Services, serving as a Captain in the US Army.
