Biography

Dr. Eric Dann is the Founder and serves as Board Member at Formulated Solutions. He previously served as President and CEO of the company. He is a visionary start-up entrepreneur with extensive experience leading innovation-centric, high-growth organizations. Often referred to as the "Chief Strategic Officer" of Formulated Solutions and with more than 600 successful product launches, he embodies the paradoxical balance of science and marketing. As a trained chemist with a keen eye for branding, his role involves managing the company's culture and growth, as well as evaluating technology platforms, new product concepts, market opportunities, and potential joint development or otherwise strategic alliances. Prior to his current role with Formulated Solutions, he spent five years with CPC Aeroscience, most recently serving as Technical Director. As the youngest member of CPC's executive team, he managed the research and development, quality assurance, and technical sales/marketing business units. He graduated with honors from Indiana University with a B.S. in chemistry and a minor in environmental toxicology. He founded Formulated Solutions while working towards his Ph.D. in natural products chemistry. In 2015, he graduated from a three-year OPM Executive Education program at Harvard Business School. He was a nine-year member of Vistage International, a well-known international organization of CEOs, a Board Member for two venture capital-backed consumer product companies, and has twice served as President of the Board of Directors of the Southern Aerosol Technical Association.
