Biography
Ms. Litzie Maarek is a Founding Partner of EduCapital. She also serves as a Board Member at Open Digital Education. She has ten years of experience in financing and investment. She began her career as a manager in Crédit Agricole CIB's Leveraged Finance team focusing on mid and large-cap operations. She then joined Strategic Investment Fund (later integrated into Bpifrance), where she led several mid-cap LBO and growth capital transactions. Within Bpifrance, she later took part in the creation and development of the "Large Venture" fund, dedicated to late-stage venture capital investments. As the lead investor and executive board member, she carried out investments in promising and fast-growing innovative companies in the digital industry, such as Withings and Voluntis. Co-founding Educapital was the natural next step, allowing her to combine her passion for entrepreneurs and innovation with a deep interest in the new technologies and transformative models impacting the way we all learn and teach. Ms. Maarek holds a degree in Engineering and Finance from Ecole Centrale Paris.
