Mr. Rudi van Niekerk served as Partner at Agri-Vie. As part of the Agri-Vie I team, Rudi has advised on a number of transactions including investments originated in the vegetable seed, aqua culture and agricultural input sectors. He has been active in post-investment governance through representing Agri-Vie I interests on a number of investee boards where he has played an instrumental role in developing corporate governance, supporting strategic growth, accessing additional project funding as well as contributing to entrepreneurial development. Rudi is a CFA charter holder with degrees in business and agricultural economics. Prior to his time with Agri-Vie, Rudi served as managing director of a medium sized commodities handling and financial services company where he was responsible for acquisitive international growth.
