Biography

Mr. Taufik Ma co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Attala Systems. He also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy & Technology Officer at Emulex. has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and systems business and joined Emulex in May 2006 as part of the company's acquisition of Aarohi Communications. He currently serves as chief strategy and technology officer (CSTO) at Emulex, where he is responsible for developing corporate strategy, new product lines, product plans and thought leadership - focused on expanding the company's connectivity and visibility product portfolios for the cloud era. Prior to this role, he served as senior vice president of product management. At Aarohi, Ma was the vice president of marketing and business development and helped drive the expansion of the company's virtualization business into existing and adjacent markets. Prior to Aarohi, Ma was general manager of the Enterprise Platforms and Services Division at Intel Corporation, where he led the BladeCenter collaboration with IBM, pioneered Intel's whitebox Storage Area Network (SAN) platform and built their telecom server business. At Intel, he was also director of strategic planning for the Enterprise Group, and responsible for strategy, planning and product management for Intel's processors, chipsets and technologies. Ma has a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University.
