Biography
Mr. Alexander McCallum is the Co-Founder & serves as a Partner at Tidal Venture Partners. Mr. McCallum serves as Chief Operating Officer at QRA. He guides the company's strategy - ensuring execution excellence while leading global sales, business development, finance, and organizational development teams. He is an innovator and entrepreneur who is passionate about the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He is also a formal mentor for numerous startups with the University of Waterloo's Velocity program. His experience comes from founding his own company NextUp Labs, and working for such companies as Ortsbo and Thalmic Labs, and corporate knowledge from previous roles at Blackberry and TD Bank Financial Group. He graduated with a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Wilfrid Laurier University.
