Biography

Mr. Joe Leon served as Managing Director, Capital Markets Expertise on West Coast at JLL. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in April 2011. He previously served as Partner at Hendricks & Partners, Senior Vice President at CB Richard Ellis and Director of Corporate Development at Step Ahead Investments. During his nearly twenty years of experience, Joe has been responsible for the sale of more than 19,500 multifamily housing units whose total value exceeded $3 billion. Joe has also successfully facilitated the sale of over 198-acres of multifamily land sites, resulting in the development of nearly 5,300 apartment homes. His accomplishments placed him amongst Hendricks & Partners Top 10 Percent Advisors Nationwide. Joe was also awarded membership in CB Richard Ellis Chairman's Club for Top 10 Percent in National Sales. He received this honor for five consecutive years. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Fullerton and completed the U.S. Marine Corp (USMC) OCS & TBS Leadership Program in Quantico, Virginia. He also served as an Officer in the USMC and US Navy. Joe is currently an active member of several charitable organizations including Children International, Compassion International and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
