Biography

Mr. Adam Goobic serves as Managing Director at General Purpose Venture Capital. He serves as a Strategic Advisor at Arsenal Growth. He is responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities targeting emerging technologies that simultaneously address commercial and defense markets. He has more than a decade of experience transforming innovative concepts into warfighting capabilities. He served as a Board Observer at Sayari. Before joining AVP, he was with the US Air Force at Hanscom AFB, MA where he carried roles in program management and engineering. He worked with a range of defense and intelligence partners to launch more than $175M in rapid fielding and advanced science and technology programs delivering C4ISR, Cyber, and Irregular Warfare solutions. He began his career on active duty performing basic and applied research on next-generation infrared sensor systems, and he continues to serve as a Reserve officer with the Air Force Research Lab. He earned a BS and MS in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia. He also earned an MBA from Boston College.
