Mr. Rob Van Der Laan is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at NewPort Capital. He served as a Partner at BENCIS Capital Partners. He has worked for Bencis since January 2013. Before joining Bencis, he worked as a merger and acquisitions adviser for Turnpoint M&A from 1993 to 2004. In 2004, he joined Boer & Croon in the position of partner and was given the task of setting up and managing the Corporate Finance department. From 2008 to 2011, he held the position of Managing Director at Boer & Croon. He studied Business Economics and Accountancy (RA) at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and an MSc in Economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
