Mr. Nikolaus Winther serves as Partner at BPE Unternehmensbeteiligungen. He studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen with a major in accounting, controlling and finance. During his studies he pursued internships with Daimler AG, Deutsche Bank AG und Monitor Group; upon completion of his degree Nikolaus Winther started his professional career at Lehman Brothers in the investment banking division. Working in the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) division in London, he accompanied several IPOs and financing transactions of German corporates via the capital markets. Furthermore, as a member of the Equity Derivatives team he structured a number of sale and hedging transactions for corporate clients and high net worth individuals. In his third year, Nikolaus Winther moved on to Lehman Brothers in Frankfurt in order to gain experience in the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) division. In September 2008 Nikolaus Winther joined BPE.
