Biography

Mr. David Powlen served as a Partner at Barnes & Thornburg. He was a member of the firm's Corporate Department, Finance, Insolvency and Restructuring Department (Chair), and Litigation Department, and was a member of the following Practice Groups: Asset Revitalization (Co-Chair); Construction Law; Financial Institutions; Financial, Corporate Governance and M&A Litigation; and Real Estate Law. At various times he had also served as a member of the firm's Management Committee and Non-Legal Affiliates Committee. With over 25 years of practice as an attorney, Mr. Powlen was experienced in a variety of financing, restructuring, and M&A transactions, commercial and corporate litigation, and business bankruptcy, insolvency, and special situations.
