Biography
Mr. Vuyo Ntoi serves as Co-Managing Director, Investment Committee Member & Board Member at African Infrastructure Investment Managers. He serves as Board Member at Cenpower Generation. Previously he served as Associate Director of Transactions at African Infrastructure Investment Managers. He joined AIIM in 2003 and has been involved in the management of the various funds under AIIM's management and advice for the past nine years. His role has involved originating, analyzing, and implementing investments for various funds. He has a breadth of knowledge across the infrastructure sectors and has been involved in transport (roads, airports, sea ports, and rail) energy (power, renewables, and pipelines), and telecommunications transactions, both in an analyst and principal capacity. He is involved in a number of transactions around the continent, mostly in relation to projects located in West Africa. In addition to being involved in a groundbreaking PPP road transaction in Nigeria, he has also been integrally involved in the development of the Hopefield Wind Farm, which recently reached financial close, and was part of the South African Department of Energy's Renewable Energy IPP Procurement Programme. Prior to joining AIIM, he was employed by an investment management and consulting company as an investment analyst and strategist. He is currently a director of Trans African Concessions (Pty) Ltd, Lekki Concession Company Ltd, and Umoya Energy (Pty) Ltd.
