Biography
Mr. Rod Martin serves as Technical Director at SR3C. Rod is a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years' experience in safety/design/project management within the nuclear industry and a founding member of SR³C. As a principal safety consultant he possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the requirements for nuclear site licensing and associated safety documentation, from optioneering phase through hazard identification, fault sequence analysis and specification of safety functional requirements.Rod worked with UKAEA, CEGB and Nuclear Electric across design, multi-discipline project engineering and contract management roles before moving into safety consultancy. His wide ranging project experience covers construction and operational civil power plants, Sellafield operations and Magnox decommissioning, as well as defence nuclear sectors.
