Biography

Ms. Ann Taylor serves as a Partner at Jones Walker. She served as a Special Counsel & Attorney at Jones Walker. She has over 20 years of experience practicing in every aspect of real estate law, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing. Recently, she has been heavily involved in negotiating leases with national and local tenants for the developer of a new shopping center development. She has also been involved in the purchasing and selling of numerous apartment complexes across the state of Mississippi. She has handled real estate acquisition and development issues for several gaming clients. Her experience also includes negotiating, structuring, and documenting financing transactions involving all types of collateral, ranging from real estate to inventory and receivables. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, magna cum laude, and the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she received her juris doctor degree, magna cum laude. Ms. Taylor is a member of The Mississippi Bar and its Sections of Business Law and Real Estate, the Tri-County Real Estate Association, and the Hinds County Bar Association. She is a past member of the Business Law Advisory Group to the Mississippi Secretary of State and is a member at large to the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women.
