Biography

Mr. Prayag Mohanty serves as Principal at Fireside Ventures. He served as Board Member at FarmBee. He serves as Board Member at The Baker's Dozen. He previously served as Principal, Investments at IvyCap Ventures. He served as a Board Member at GrabOnRent. He served as Board Observer at Biryani By Kilo. He has worked at SBI Capital Markets, the Investment Banking subsidiary of SBI for three years as part of the Equity Capital Markets group which dealt with all forms of equity fund raising for the corporates. He was involved in the closure of 5 transactions including the marquee follow on public offering of $700 million by Tata Steel. He has worked closely with the Department of Disinvestment for managing the sale of shares by the Government of India including the $200 million stake sale in Engineers India through a follow on public offering and the $110 million stake sale in National Aluminium Company via an offer for sale auction. He was also involved in the initial public offerings of two midsized private companies in the power financing and ancillary sector. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with Finance specialisation from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and a Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University.
