Biography

Mr. Michael Schwartz served as a Senior Vice President at Fifth Street Asset Management. He served as Associate at Ares Capital. He joined Fifth Street Asset Management in April 2014. Mr. Schwartz also actively monitored 25 portfolio companies across the Healthcare, Industrial and Manufacturing sectors, recommending secondary trades to portfolio managers and delivering origination ideas and opportunities to sponsor coverage on those companies. Prior to Ares, Mr. Schwartz spent four years at Invesco. As the lead cable, telecom and satellite analyst he identified, evaluated and monitored par and distressed leveraged loan and high yield bond investments. Mr. Schwartz received his B.S. in Policy Analysis and Management with a concentration in Consumer Economics and Policy from Cornell University.
