Biography

Mr. Alan Dow served as a Principal and Office Lead at Environ. Alan has over 23 years' experience working in the private and public sectors of the hazardous waste management industry. Alan is a specialist in hydrogeology, environmental risk, ground contamination risk assessments, international due diligence liability and compliance auditing, remedial works specification, implementation procurement and contract management. He is currently responsible for the company's work in audit, contaminated land and remediation in Scotland and neighboring areas and directs numerous major acquisition and divestiture due diligence projects for a range of corporate and private equity clients. He is also principal account holder of a number of ENVIRON's key international clients and the main contact for various UK, continental European and US law firms. He holds an MS in Hydrogeology and Groundwater Resources from University College London and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Glasgow.
