Biography

Dr. David Hoffmeister served as Chief Executive Officer at Ventura Solutions. In 1999, Dr. Hoffmeister joined the Department of Defense as a Researcher at the Laboratory for Telecommunications Science, specializing in optical communication systems and networked systems. In 2002, he joined Atlantic Coast Telesys (ACT) as Director of Research and Development, where he was involved in proposals, product development, and direct customer support on several contracts. In 2004, ACT was acquired by SAIC and Dr. Hoffmeister was made a Division Technical Director. In this role, he was responsible for the technical oversight of several programs, was the principal designer for a new hardware product used in a customer funded program, and was the Principal Investigator for an internal research and development program funded by SAIC at the corporate level. Dr. Hoffmeister joined Ventura Solutions in 2007 as Chief Technical Officer. Dr. Hoffmeister earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Buffalo in 1999.
