Biography

Mr. Phillip Furbay Founded and served as Managing Partner at Grove Park Capital. Mr. Furbay served as a Private Equity Associate at The Riverside Company. Previously, he served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Stephens Inc. Mr. Furbay's investing and operating experience includes over $700 million of private equity investments and over $9 billion in public company M&A transactions. Mr. Furbay is formerly a private equity investor for The Riverside Company, where he evaluated and executed investments across a wide array of industries, focusing on the strategic direction, growth and performance of those companies. Additionally, Mr. Furbay spent time in portfolio company operational roles, leading & executing numerous strategic initiatives to successfully drive progress and positive results. Previously, Mr. Furbay was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group within the Corporate Investment Bank of Stephens Inc. where he analyzed acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, company sales and takeover defenses for both public and mid-market private companies. He also helped execute principal investment opportunities for Stephens Capital Partners as well as business development efforts for the firm. Phillip graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ohio University where he majored in finance with extended pre-med studies in Chemistry, Biology and Physics, and also played football for the Bobcats. He enjoys traveling, staying active, exploring the outdoors and, above all else, spending quality time with friends, family and his six year old 4-legged companion, Koda.
