Pam Hemminger General Information
Biography
Ms. Pam Hemminger served as Vice Chairman of the board of directors at Triangle Land Conservancy. Since moving to Chapel Hill in 1986, Pam has held various public offices, including holding elected office as a member and former chair of the CHCCS Board of Education. Pam served as Orange County Commissioner from 2008-2012 and served as Vice-Chair of the Board from 2011-2012. In that capacity she chaired the Upper Neuse River Basin Authority. Pam continues to Chair the Upper Neuse River Basin Authority and currently serves on the Orange Habitat and Rainbow Soccer Boards. Previous to her involvement in public service, Pam worked as a business manager in several industries (computer, real estate, venture capital). She has a strong background in financial accounting and budgeting and has served as a bookkeeper and financial planner for several local non-profit organizations.
