Biography

Mr. Charles Payton serves as Partner, Capital Formation and Investor Relations at Andreessen Horowitz. Mr. Payton served as Director of Fundraising and Investor Relations at The Riverside Company. He was a director on the fundraising and investor relations team at The Riverside Company, a global middle-market private equity firm where he covered the firm's nine fund families, including three core strategies (equity, credit, and structured capital) across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. He received a BA in history and a certificate in markets and management from Duke University. While at Duke University, he was a member of the Duke Men's Lacrosse Team, winning back-to-back NCAA Division I National Championships in 2013 and 2014. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, triathlons, and convincing his wife to get more dogs.
