He comes from a family with a rich history in coal mining, so pursuing a degree in mining engineering and a career in the coal industry were natural choices for him. He attended the University of Nottingham, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering and earned an MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. Previously, he worked at Joy Global as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing. With a background in mining, business leadership, manufacturing, supply chains, and international experience, he will focus on customer needs to drive the growth of the Strata Proximity business globally.
