Thomas Tibbles General Information

Biography

Mr. Tom Tibbles served as Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer at Hansberger Global Investors (International Growth Equity Business). In his role, Tom is a portfolio manager as well as being responsible for asset allocation and risk management decisions. He is also a key member of the Quantitative Research effort at HGI. Prior to joining our predecessor firm, Hansberger Global Investors, Inc. ("Old HGI"), in 1999, Tom headed up the Global Equity Team at Indago Capital Management in Toronto, an affiliate of Canada Life. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Toronto, Trinity College. While attending the University of Toronto, he was awarded the Martin R. Lindsay Scholarship for performance in advanced finance and a Trinity College Scholarship for overall performance. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
