Biography
Mr. Robert Essner serves as Chairman of the Board at Children's Health Fund. Mr. Essner was elected Chairman of the Board in 2012, after five years of service as a board member. Prior to joining the Board, Essner was Chair of Children's Health Fund's Corporate Council for America's Children for over a decade. Former CEO & Chairman of Wyeth (now Pfizer).Mr. Essner is Executive in Residence and adjunct professor at Columbia Business School. He is a Director of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, NBTY, PPD and Amicus Therapeutics. He is Trustee of Mote Marine Laboratories. He is also a senior advisor to The Carlyle Group.
