Biography

Mr. Nick Palairet serves as Director, Capital Formation and Head of Investor Relations at Cubera Private Equity. Mr. Palairet served as Senior Advisor at Asante Capital Group. He has over 13 years of private equity transaction experience and specializes in raising capital in the private markets for direct investments. He was previously Chief Investment Officer of the Lordship Group, an emerging market investor, responsible for over USD 1 billion in projects worldwide, and between 2008 and 2013 he headed up the London office of Minerva Capital Advisors, a family office focused on private equity direct investments. Before Minerva, he was a key member of Allco Finance Group's Structured Finance team, one of the world's most successful shipping structured finance arrangers, where he was responsible for the placement of vessel transactions in the European market in excess of USD 2 billion in value. He began his career with Bell Gully, New Zealand's largest law firm, where he worked in the Corporate Team for three years specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
