Biography

Mr. Christopher Boone serves as Managing Partner at Cimbal Capital Group. He also served as Advisor & Board Member at Kleeen Software. He Co-Founded AppCentral. He also served as Executive Chairman at Yummly & Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Coveroo. He was CEO of Cimbal Mobile Payments, President & CEO of Visuvi, an image-initiated search engine (sold to Siemens). He served as a Managing Director with SIB, a $10 billion European private equity fund, and President & CEO of AppCentral, a desktop virtualization company and pioneer in cloud computing (sold to Hewlett Packard). Before these investing and operating roles, He worked as a technology, media, and telecommunications management consultant. He served as Director of Business and Corporate Development at Excite@Home where he was a member of the Senior Leadership Team helping lead deal negotiations with AT&T, Cox Communications, and Comcast. He began his career as a mergers & acquisitions investment banker with J.P. Morgan in New York and was an early member of the firm's equity derivatives and fixed income derivative divisions where he managed a $2 billion global portfolio. He is a recognized scholar with the Gerson Lehrman Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications Council. He holds over a dozen US patents and patents pending in payment, authentication, virtualization, and distributed networks. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in medical physics from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Finance from Wharton, and an MBA from the University of Denver.
