Biography

Mr. Jason Carney serves as Partner & Head, Real Estate Credit practice at Post Road Group. Prior to joining Post Road, Jason was a Principal at Atalaya Capital Management, a New York-based special opportunity investment fund where he was responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities in the real estate, corporate and specialty finance sectors. Prior to Atalaya, Jason co-founded the non-performing loan business at Palatine Capital Partners and was the portfolio manager of Palatine's credit opportunity fund. Prior to Palatine, Jason was responsible for identifying and executing investments in non-performing and distressed loans at Silver Point Capital. Prior to Silver Point, Jason was a member of the Commercial Asset Sales Group at Mission Capital Advisors responsible for the sale of commercial, business and residential loans as well as REO and equipment leases. Jason began his career at MJ Whitman/Third Avenue Management, a broker-dealer and mutual fund, as a sales and trading assistant on the distressed and high-yield trading desk. Jason graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Business Management.
