Biography

Mr. Michael Livanos serves as Managing Director, Investment Team at Stellex Capital Management. Mr. Livanos served as Board Member at Dominion Hospitality. He serves as Board Member at Custom Glass Solutions, Standard Forged Products, Continental Global Material Handling, and Fenix Parts. He has over 6 years of experience financing stressed and distressed companies and advising clients on restructuring matters. Mr. Livanos was previously a Vice President at Barclays in the Restructuring and Finance Group. Prior to Barclays, he was an associate at Houlihan Lokey in the Financial Restructuring Group. He was recruited to Houlihan Lokey while an M.B.A. student at Columbia Business School, where he graduated 2008 on the Dean's List. Mr. Livanos remains active with the school's Private Equity Program as a mentor and lectures regularly on restructuring and distressed investing. Prior to Columbia, he worked at Citigroup's Corporate Headquarters and Citigroup International within the finance and corporate development functions. In addition to an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, he holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon with double majors in Computer Science and Business Administration. Mr. Livanos is a Dean's alumni advisory board member of the School of Computer Science.
