Biography

Mr.Ping-luen Raymond Kwok serves as Chairman, Board Member and Executive Committee Member at Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mr. Kwok has been Chairman of the Company since December 2011. Prior to their appointment as Chairman of the Company, Mr. Kwok had acted as Vice Chairman of the Company for 21 years. He is also the Managing Director and a member of the Company's Executive Committee. He has been with the Group for 43 years. Mr. Kwok holds a Master of Arts degree in Law from Cambridge University, a Master's degree in Business Administration from Harvard University, an Honorary Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Metropolitan University (formerly known as The Open University of Hong Kong) and an Honorary Doctorate degree in Laws from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr. Kwok is the chairman and an executive director of SUNeVision Holdings Ltd. He is also the chairman and a non-executive director of SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings Limited, and a non-executive director of Transport International Holdings Limited and Wing Tai Properties Limited. In civic activities, Mr. Kwok is a member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is also a director of The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong and a member of the council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr. Kwok is a son of Madam Kwong Siu-hing, who is a substantial shareholder of the Company within the meaning of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Mr. Kwok is the father of Messrs. Kwok Kai-wang, Christopher and Kwok Ho-lai, Edward. He is also an uncle of Messrs. Kwok Kai-fai, Adam and Kwok Kai-chun, Geoffrey.
