Biography

Mr. Shawn Byerly serves as Managing Director at Copper Run in the firm's Cincinnati office. He focuses his time on business development, where he is actively sourcing new buy-side and sell-side opportunities in the business services, distribution, and manufacturing sectors. He previously served as Managing Director of First Financial Bank's (FFBC) Business Capital Group where he was responsible for business development, structuring and negotiating leveraged finance transactions, and maintaining client relationships. During his 10+ year tenure at First Financial, he was responsible for originating and closing over 50 deals. Before First Financial, he worked in a variety of credit and relationship management roles at Fifth Third Bank where he gained experience in a broad array of industry verticals. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Franklin University. He is a member of Opus Connect and the Cincinnati chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
