Biography

Mr. Timothy Hanchett serves as Senior Vice President & Business Development Officer at MidFirst Business Credit. Mr. Hanchett served as Managing Director, Business Development at Woodforest National Bank. He has been in asset-based lending and commercial finance for more than 34 years. Prior to WNB, He worked for 30 years in senior roles helping a number of financial institutions, including JPM Chase and Citizens Bank, develop, and manage asset-based lending portfolios. Mr. Hanchett has been in asset-based lending and commercial finance for more than 34 years. He brings significant asset-based lending experience to MidFirst Business Credit, including field examination, portfolio management, credit underwriting, and new business development. Based in Detroit, he is responsible for originating, structuring, and funding asset-based financing solutions, with commitment amounts up to $30 million for middle-market businesses. His efforts are focused on the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, including Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Central Michigan University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting degree from Central Michigan University. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Turnaround Management Association, and the Secured Finance Network.
